Launching agency
editAre all Cosmos-3M launches conducted by the Russian Space Forces (VKS)? (sdsds - talk) 06:46, 1 November 2007 (UTC)
- Commercial launches are conducted by a company called COSMOS. I don't know anything about them, though. --GW_SimulationsUser Page | Talk 21:43, 3 February 2008 (UTC)
Aryabhata launch vehicle
editRepeating here a question asked at: Talk:Aryabhata (satellite)#Launch vehicle -- the Aryabhata (satellite) article currently claims the launch vehicle (for India's first satellite) was a Cosmos-3M, but NSSDC claims it was an "Intercosmos II." Is this merely a terminology issue? (sdsds - talk) 03:33, 27 May 2008 (UTC)
- Intercosmos was a programme under which the Soviet Union launched satellites for other countries. --GW_SimulationsUser Page | Talk 09:28, 27 May 2008 (UTC)
