Are you guys aware that some Costa Ricans actually HATE the word "tico"? Tico is more like brits for english people or argies for Argentinians, my point is that even though is socially accepted, some people would never use tico instead of the formal "costarricense" - Contemporary Costa Ricans barely end words using -ico/-ica like they used to 100 years ago when the rest of central americans notice it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 186.15.154.130 (talk) 15:26, 23 October 2017 (UTC)Reply



Costa Rican peopleCosta Ricans – as per WP:CONCISE and WP:CONSISTENCY. We should use similar titles to Canadians, Norwegians, etc. Basically everywhere that there's a common short form for a people, we use it. Red Slash 18:11, 21 February 2015 (UTC)Reply
