Scottish descendants in America
editPlenty of information is left out in this essay, such as the persecution of Covenanters in Scotland, the killing in the fields of men, women and children, during covenanter worship services, the drowning of covenanters, both male and female, by means of tying them to stakes in the ocean as the tide came in, setting them out to sea during storms in ships with no captain or crew, as well as the escape of covenanters to Northern Ireland, many of whom eventually migrated to America. 2600:1011:B18C:8D09:BCEA:49C5:929A:E2FE (talk) 05:28, 13 June 2024 (UTC)
There's an entire section on the "Killing time", and the article is about the Covenanter movement, not a recital of alleged atrocities.Robinvp11 (talk) 12:14, 14 June 2024 (UTC)
