Article title
editI'm assuming the term 'Cryptocurrency Tumbler' or 'Bitcoin Tumbler' are used less than Coin-Mixing Service. Please switch around the redirects if I'm wrong Deku-shrub (talk) 16:34, 17 May 2015 (UTC)
- I decided Cryptocurrency Tumbler was sexier so went with this after all Deku-shrub (talk) 16:38, 17 May 2015 (UTC)

- The article's title should reflect the most common usuage, rather than sexiest : -)
- Sometimes the number of web search hits is used as a rule of thumb. Jonpatterns (talk) 17:12, 17 May 2015 (UTC)
- The problem is I'm trying to write this agnostic of the specific cryptocurrency, most services advertise themselves as 'bitcoin tumblers' or 'bitcoin mixing services', the generic terminology is not in wide use AFAIK Deku-shrub (talk) 17:41, 17 May 2015 (UTC)
Proposed merge with Bitcoin mixer
editI'm not sure Bitcoin mixer provides any further information to Cryptocurrency tumbler, but if so, they should be merged and Bitcoin mixer redirected. TheDragonFire (talk) 12:26, 30 March 2017 (UTC)

Why was this section reverted
editI would like to know why this revision https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Cryptocurrency_tumbler&oldid=1191839768 of mine was reverted in the most recent edit. The others, maybe I understand a little bit, but the history section and in particular the November 2023 FIOD seizing of Sinbad mixer is well-documented and FIOD and OFAC are in no way "unreliable sources". Zenulabidin2k (talk) 05:40, 26 December 2023 (UTC)
- @Zenulabidin2k: We are not using cryptocurrency sources, such as coindesk, thethe block, etc (as well as the even more blog-type smaller crypto sites). Please see if you can find a mainstream source for this. Thanks! Jtbobwaysf (talk)
- Specifically for the Sinbad.io paragraph, please avoid content which is solely supported by primary sources. Use reliable, independent and secondary sources to explain this, and use reliable primary sources to fill-in any necessary details.
- As for the rest, as Jtbobwaysf says, please only use reliable sources which have a positive reputation for accuracy and fact-checking, and do not add unsourced content, editorializing, or original research. Grayfell (talk) 20:50, 27 December 2023 (UTC)
