I am a colleague of Dale Pollock at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts. We both teach Cinema Studies at the School of Filmmaking. Mr. Pollock asked me to post his bio on Wikipedia. He wrote the bio himself, which is also the same one that is cited on the web page listed as an infringement. The reason they are so closely linked is that Mr. Pollock wrote both bios. Should Mr. Pollock submit this material himself? How can I resolve this so that Mr. Pollock's bio can be posted?

I have revised the bio to bring it a bit more in line with Wikipedia's practices. Mr. Pollock could verify permission to reuse his content through the procedures at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials, but typically material posted on such websites is not really in line with what we look for here, so it may be better to allow the content to develop naturally. What this article could really use at this point are more inline sources to help verify the content. Please see Wikipedia:Citing sources for more information. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 17:29, 8 April 2010 (UTC)Reply
