Proposed Deletion
editThis certainly should not be deleted. Dam-Funk has been written up in national/international, recognized publications (LA Weekly, The Guardian, Rolling Stones) and websites (Pitchfork, Fader, XLR8R). His releases are already having an wide influence (people are already biting his style) and he's done/doing collaborations with lots of acknowledged artists like Steve Arrington, Jody Whatley, Animal Collective, and so on. ASK ANYONE WHO'S BEEN MOST RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SUDDEN GROWING INTEREST IN BOOGIE-ERA FUNK AND THEY WILL TELL YOU DAM-FUNK. DO NOT DELETE THIS PAGE - EXPAND IT!
I agree with the above statement. This artist is growing in popularity both on the internet and through word-of-mouth. When I looked up this article I was surprised that it was only a mere stub. 97.116.30.230 (talk) 11:41, 17 March 2010 (UTC)
I also generally oppose deletion of pages, even when people cite that it isnt that popular yet, but things get MORE popular with time. I'm just bitter because I'm dealing with this on another page. No, it should not be deleted. But it does need to be edited and I will begin that now. Any feedback or help will be appreciated.DaltonCastle (talk) 03:40, 3 August 2012 (UTC)
I just scratched the surface of cleaning up this page. It will be an arduous task...but I'll get it done.DaltonCastle (talk) 04:20, 3 August 2012 (UTC)
Still lacks sources
editAlthough the 2010 deletion discussion seemed to have uncovered some RS, they have not yet been added to this BLP. Miniapolis 21:58, 26 September 2013 (UTC)
