To say nothing of the detail that this is an advocacy piece for the claim of priority, it contains:

Kievsky traveled during the time of the middle ages.

This is bad writing, not least because Kievsky isn't a surname. Septentrionalis PMAnderson 18:57, 4 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Gave specific year when Daniel began his travels. Changed "Kievsky" to "Daniel". The reference Anzovin said: The first Russian travel writer was Daniel of Kiev, called in Russian Daniel Kievsky or Daniil Polomnik (the Pilgrim). --Doug Coldwell talk 19:40, 4 September 2008 (UTC)Reply
Just leave out the sentence; it contributes nothing. Septentrionalis PMAnderson 20:37, 4 September 2008 (UTC)Reply
Have expanded the article a little from another very detailed Ukrainian source. The main information I obtained is from the article in the 1911 Encyclopædia Britannica Eleventh Edition. Both these sources and most of the other sources seem to think the date of 1106 CE or 1107 CE is an important part of his story. Therefore in the rewording I have mentioned this information. --Doug Coldwell talk 21:48, 4 September 2008 (UTC)Reply
