19.5 years? What does that mean?

edit

It says "He served 19.5 years in prison". Does that mean 19 years and 6 months? Why not just say that then? Or does it mean 19 years and 5 months? Is it a thing where they got from 19.0 to 19.12?Dream Focus 07:48, 21 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

History of the case -- Hotel witnesses?

edit

In this revision, Beatpc49 added the following text to the History of the case section:

But there was a hotel employee who saw Hunt enter the hotel bathroom later that morning and exit leaving bloody hand towels, as well as other witnesses who placed Hunt near the scene

No references were given, and I marked it as needing a citation. Given the nature of the author's other edits, I suspect a non-neutral POV, and if a citation is not provided within a few days, I'll be back to remove the claim entirely. --Randall Nortman (talk) 19:54, 19 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Added content and cites

edit

Added content and cites about Hunt's being prosecuted in the 1983 Arthur Wilson murder. (He was tried twice and acquitted in the second trial.) Also added more material about effects of the trials on local politics - defeat of Donald K. Tisdale Sr, incumbent DA, in 1986; extensive internal investigation of police. More can be added. Also added more about Hunt's life after prison and his influence on criminal justice reform, including helping achieve passage of the Racial Justice Act.Parkwells (talk) 14:13, 25 May 2017 (UTC)Reply

edit

Added ethnicity to Lead as this played a part in his being identified as a suspect.Parkwells (talk) 18:02, 7 June 2017 (UTC)Reply
