BMW Dealership in Evesham
editCan anyone fill in details of the David Richards BMW dealership in Evesham?
I used to use that garage in the early 1990s. It was extremely good both for sales and service.
It was sold in around 1993, I understand, to allow David Richards to concentrate on Prodrive. Shortly afterwards, I noticed that the Prodrive factories next to the M40 expanded significantly. I think that there is no longer a BMW dealership in Evesham.
I still have and use regularly a plastic ruler that was left in my car as a freebie after a service, probably in 1992. It says along its length "David Richards BMW BUYERS FOR THAT LITTLE BIT MORE - 0386 765900". The joke is that the ruler is 33cm (13 inches) rather than the ususal 30cm (12 inches) long. Maybe it is a collectors' item :-) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Eurgain (talk • contribs) 22:23, 24 January 2019 (UTC)
