I guess I'll never understand pictures on Wikipedia. Compare the Dutch version to the English version, why is the picture of Leopold I perfectly fine on the Dutch version, and completely wrong and different here?! Thanks! Evilbu 14:00, 10 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Role in Dunkirk Evacuation

edit

De Panne was the site of a British field hospital that treated casualties from Dunkirk, which is just across the border. This is according to my father, who worked in that hospital. There is likely documentation of this but I am not familiar with it.Bill (talk) 09:09, 4 December 2018 (UTC)Reply

Resort town

edit

I added a mention of De Panne as a resort town. I don't have a lot of source for this beside this blog post describing it as one of the most popular beach resorts in Belgium primarily because of its beach which is the widest in the country and covered in white sand.

As a belgian myself, I can testify this is one of the easiest seaside destination and definitely a tourist-oriented city. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 37.228.238.254 (talk) 23:22, 25 January 2020 (UTC)Reply

Coast Tram

edit

Surely the Transport section should mention the Coast Tram! It seems a strange omission. Mdrb55 (talk) 17:45, 9 October 2021 (UTC)Reply
