editThis is an advertisement or a review, not an encyclopedia article. When I have some free time, I intend to change it somewhat. Rhesusman 7:32 10 May 2005 (UTC)
Dead or Alive Online for the PC links to this page, however the PC game has completely different artwork and is being developped by a different company, its not the same game and it should not be linked to this page.

Storyline
editSomeone, should edit, by typing down the storyline Now i got the game, i can do it:P - >x<ino
- Good thing, the storyline progess has begone. Or don't tell me, that is all for the storyline Anyway, soon i will edit some and add more in the Storyline Section, right now i don't have time:P- >x<ino 21:16, 8 February 2006 (UTC)
- Please don't. The Game is merely a remake of the oringinal. Hence the plot is exactly identical and is mentioned in the Dead or Alive 2 article respectively. Restating the story anaylisis would be redundant. -ZeroTalk 22:05, 8 February 2006 (UTC)
- I don't see why that section was reverted, Trying to make article better and fill it up ith useful informtaion But some fool will revert it, later making it a sub article - >x<ino 13:40, 10 February 2006 (UTC)
- Please assume Good Faith. You apparently completely disregarded my above post, and made the addition anyway, as if I conjured up my reasoning out of thin air. "Some fool will revert it" indeed! -ZeroTalk 16:14, 10 February 2006 (UTC)

had to retype this!
What I meant by reverting was, the section I made "Changes and add ons"
I try filling up articles and it get reverted, later the article will be a stub
- I didn't see that post you made before, that is why i stated about reverting
"fool" i normally say that all the time, and i am plannig on stoping it This was a misunderstanding, sorry if i offended you -
- >x<ino 19:25, 10 February 2006 (UTC)
- No problems. There's no need to be sorry, just remember to keep updated on talkpages whilst in the process of editing paticular subjects pertaining to articles. I too apologize if I came off too strong. -ZeroTalk 18:38, 10 February 2006 (UTC)
well it seem, you have also played p0rn Ultimate
- What I meant by the story, was not just explaning starting from DOA1
but Just explaining what happening in the opening CGI like "At the start of the FMV, it begins with Young Ayane and Kasumi fishing together" And finishes with "Kasumi decided to have revenge on Raiduo, but the Mugen though of her has a traitor for running away"
- ">X<ino and out!" >x<ino 20:56, 10 February 2006 (UTC)
- I recently made an edit to the article in which I removed the CG analysis and resized the image. I did this because the thesis statement is somewhat incomprehensible. It is somewhat akin to a "rant", in that its difficult to comprehend what's transgressing (unless the reader has seen it numerous times as have I). I think it best to evicerate it written at an higher standard of quality. Also, the box art needn't be so large as well, and I think it redundant to include the analysis due to the character pages detailing anyway. However, on a final note, the screenshots depicting gameplay are excellent; good work. Please see me at at my talkpage if you have qualms about this. -ZeroTalk 14:21, 15 February 2006 (UTC)
Picture
editThe box art picture seems a little too big
- I would update it with a bigger picture
I know the website, but I can't save the picture to my system, internet kept on saying access denied
- So...so one will have to do it, save the file to your system, upload it, or delete it
- ">X<ino and out!" >x<ino 03:30, 11 February 2006 (UTC)
Also we need picture of the gameplay and someone playing Online
- ">x<ino, over and OuT!" >x<ino 04:02, 11 February 2006 (UTC)
Work
editAs you all can see...my magical brain powers is at work again. The same were I managed to improve other articles this similar way. Anyway onto the real event!
Under the Gameplay Section, I added some few sub sections:
- Battle Record: this is needed because it is part of the game, its gameplay and what you can do. Which makes it a feature. Don't delete this
- Unlocks:, instead of listing anything relating to GameFaQs, I managed to explain myself in a more better way. No need to delete this, you can change it if you want, to a more, better or shorter written veiw. Plus don't delete this
- Collections: the same appeals for this, I managed to explain myself, without listing out all characters items. Change some text, correct some mistakes bu don't remove it.
- Costumes: the last one, I managed not to list out all character outfits, but actually gave a brief details about the conflict outfits. Plus I didnt explain it in a way like GameFaQ about how to unlock this certain outfits. Don't remove it unless you state your reason why.
Now...if you have any problems or you disapprove with the above sub sections. Please state your reason here, and we can decide if we do really need em.
Now I added some few more sections:
- Story: we had a little talk about this earier. But somepeople do think, Wiki: Games article are for people who have essentially played the game. I think it isn't! This story needs to explain about the story of DOA 2. Yes we can't explain each characters mission storyline, becuase they are already said in their own biography. It is better just to explain the CGI.
So if you see disagree with the Storyline FMV, state your reasons.
Soundtrack, it's official, it doesn't need removal!
Stages...I didn't know how to put this, but I will leave this in your hand. You can either delete it or leave it, but still state your reason for your choice.
Last but not the least. DOA Ultimate isn't just about the remake of DOA for DC nor just for Xbox Live. this game also packs in the original arcade version DOA 1. SO it also needs info.
SO people, state your reason for the changes you are about to make to my edits:P
- >x<ino 01:10, 14 May 2006 (UTC)
- I'm going to say this in the most polite way, as you seem to be sincere in wanting the improvement of articles - DON'T tell others what they "can" and "can't" remove. It reeks of WP:OWN. Papacha 16:53, 14 May 2006 (UTC)
- Okey day. I do agree about DOA1; it could use some representation, this being a comp title. However - I'm really iffy about including all the various extra stuff which could probably serve to be cut. Just because it's there doesn't give it license to be included in an encyclopedic article. I left much of it alone for now (aside from fixes), barring further consensus.
- I *did* eliminate the FMV analysis, per the reasons Megs stated above. If it can be made more clear and concise, fine. Otherwise the write-up reads like a club beating Wikipedians over the head with the plot, wandering from one point to another. Sorry.
- Also excised/fixed several errors in the added sections, mostly because if they absolutely HAFTA be there, they might as well be accurate; breaks were then pasted into each following section to keep them from bleeding into each other. Moved the second gameplay pic, as different resolutions had it interfering with the next area of text.
- And one last time, as it bears repeating - PAH-LEEZE don't tell users what they "can" and "can't" do with your edits. Decisions are generally made by consensus, and trying to put other users on a leash and cajoling them to "explain" themselves is never for the betterment of articles and usually harbors nothing but bad feelings. Other than vandalism and inaccurate/overall poor edits it's strictly a no-go.
- If you don't want your writing to be edited mercilessly or redistributed by others, do not submit it. It's the Wikipedia standard. Papacha 20:17, 14 May 2006 (UTC)
Yes you did a great job on cleaning up the section. But I think you must have misunderstood me about removing and leaving sections:
- Bayman - finish story mode on normal with Leon.
- Tengu - finish story mode on easy with all starting characters.
We need to fix those two! Because it's reads out like GameFaQs.
- Good job adding the voice section, I totally forgot about it!
- And as for the FMV section/ Storyline. Yes we do need that section. I don't care if a expect Wiki changes and writes it in a better way. We need that section, because it's the only way to tell the story(rolls eyes)
And as for the removing and non removing article. That is the problem about you wiki editors, you all use the same excuse just to brush someone away. The same excuses
- Bad grammar
- Owning article
- Not polite
You all need to come up with something better and reasonable, cuz I am sick of listening to the same shit!
Anyway, why I said they shouldn't remove the sections, is that they should first see the Talk Page, because if they remove it, then I will revert them. Then it will be a row and we will start reverting each other! That is what I am trying to aviod. I am always trying to sort out things inside the Talk Page. Because some of you wiki think the Talk Page is for discussing cheap talks! Here are the sections I said they can't remove:
- Battle Record
- Unlocks
- Collections
- Costumes
- Story
- Soundtrack
Those are the sections, and like I said before, if you want to remove or edit that section. State it at the Talk Page. Then we can discuss and have a vote!.
- This isn't a gamefaqs, lad. In place of all these unnecessary tips and fanservice insertions, I'm suggesting we add a section on the game's production period and how it sold in stores. -ZeroTalk 21:00, 14 May 2006 (UTC)
- Seconded. Carve into this article like turkey on Thanksgiving or a hoody at Hot Topic. Papacha 21:06, 14 May 2006 (UTC)

I know it isn't GameFaQs, I an't the one adding about, how to unlock this type of character by using Easy, Normal & Hard. I just said characters can be unlocked choosing certain diffuclty level. Mine was better before:P
But, no one still havn't answerd my question, what about the Stage Section? It's a list, isn't really showing anything but lists...
Megaman Zero, you can add a section containing the game's production period and sales, since you came up with it. My own part work is done:P
I don't call this article turkey or carve....I call it owning:P
- >x<ino 23:25, 14 May 2006 (UTC)
- Nope, we're of two minds on the issue. You're the one adding superflous fan-service fit for GameFAQs on an encyclopedia link. I'M the one specifying the hows and why-fors, since you decided to out and leave it there. Of course, it won't matter should the whole section get DAS BOOT'd. Something which can be remedied very shortly. Papacha 00:07, 15 May 2006 (UTC)
What da hell are you talking about!? Those info an't GameFaQs!
If those info's are GameFaQs, then it will be explaining how to get all costumes, how to get a unlockables and how to get all collections. Like I said before, I only explianed what those things are for in the game, you in the other hand added notes from GameFaQs: how to get this things, like explaining that the player needs to play in easy mode to unlock Bayman ect!
Costume
editUnlike the original Dead or Alive 2, which features some character costumes, Dead or Alive Ultimate includes quite a few more, with 137 different outfits to unlock. New costumes become available by progressing through the game in its Easy, Normal and Hard difficulty settings. Player will have to play through Time Attack difficulty settings to unlock Bayman, Hitomi and Tengu's extra outfits. Can someone tell me how this is GameFaQs!? If this is GameFaQs it will explain fully that player must play in Easy to unlock costume from 1-6, Normal costume 7-12 and hard costume 13-16. I can't believe I am going through this again. Talking and trying to cooperate with editors who havn't played or have no info about this game. The big deal of all is them using same old excuse: "it's like GameFaQs!" SONS! there is nothing like GameFaQs, it's called a Cheat! cheating in gaming!
Collections
editThe first time a player fights a Survival Match, an icon will be viewable in the select menu. Held within will be all the items dropped by a defeated character and taken by the player during the course of the match, with sixty-six items collectable in all. Each item (three apiece) indicates a character's favorite thing or foods, for example, three different kinds of ice cream for Zack or sushi rolls for Hayabusa. Finishing the first page of the collection menu will allow for the pick-up of that character's rare and unique item. And how is this GameFaQs!? If it's GameFaQs, it will explain all characters items!
Unlockables
editPlayable characters:
- CG Gallery: An art gallery of the Dead or Alive girls, some portraits also feature images from Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball.
- Booster Menu: Once all character costumes have been unlocked.
- Announcer voices: One of five character voices - Kasumi, Ayane, Ein, Tengu, and Raidou - can take the place of the original announcer's, provided their sparring conditions have been met. In the case of Raidou, all other exercises must be completed.
Yes some of the info here are GameFaQs...I didn't even add them and it was you whom added them now complaining it is GameFaQs. You added the Hitomi how to unlock her, the same goes for Bayman, which is 100% GameFaQs. The rest of it an't!
Battle record
editPlayers now have the option of recording their own fifty second round fight. Available only in offline play, a 4 tag match or a 2 on 2 match may be recorded. Upon viewing the fight, players can set their favored watch method mode: Round Camera, Look at Player 1, Look at Player 2, Game Camera and Active Camera. While viewing a battle, players can tilt the camera by using the Trigger buttons, zooming in and using the directional buttons to toggle between rewind, play, pause and fast forward. This is why I know most of you editors, no nothing and an't meant to be here, cuz you go on as if you know all. The worst of all, you all claim articles and try to make other people seem like they are the one claiming articles! I dunno if you have played this game or not but you are acting like you know it all. How is this info GameFaQs!?
From the edits you did, I am sorry, but you must be reverted, even from your starting edit you did that made all lines seem like GameFaQs and where done by you!
I have reverted all your edits back to the prevouis one you did before. But I changed some details like "unlocking Bayman", deleted all text that combinate with control pads.
Like I said before, there is nothing that makes it GameFaQs, you can go to GameFaQs yourself and see a more indept details. I bet you haven't even being there to check out info for the damn game!
- If this all is to be included, I'm advocating we merge it all into the gameplay section. This only includes the online specifications. Costumes, unlockables, etc. are completely unnecessary. The character roster already makes note of who is unlockable, the single sentence for having the vast amount of costumes is sufficent, and the level section needs to be removed and integrated more nicely into the gameplay section. This is a remake with bonus material. Please don't insist on making it more than it is. The only new expanded material that should take pacedience is the game's development and sales.-ZeroTalk 04:46, 15 May 2006 (UTC)
- You're an odd bird, if you don't mind me saying so. I picture you jumping up and down as you type like you've got ants down your pants. It's strange and off-putting; I like it. I don't know why we ever broke up.
- Now then, what to do, what to do? Do I throw what amounts to a multi-line tantrum, defering blame and insults as I insist no one knows what they're doing but me, making myself a fool in the process? Do I accuse them of never playing the game or visiting the site they compare my writeups to? Would I revert without the discussion I crave as they encounter my each and every edit, before at long last giving them my blessing to continue? Or is calling them out as fanboys while libidinously stroking my own ego the way to go? Mein goht but this stuff is heavy...
- Of course, I could point out forum posts and website FAQs that would make my case, or say that regardless of a line or three the additions are off and (WHOANO!) GameFAQQy, and that the added info reads for all the world like a Tecmo press release - I'm sure we could fit "SHE KIXX HIGH" somewhere. I could mention someone else already agreed with me on the point (^ points), redeeming me a tiny bit. And if that didn't work there's always "HAHA I JUST REPORTAD YUO 2A MOD FOR BEIGN NASTY COCKFAG!!1! ROFFLE".
- ...
- Still working on that last one. Great journey, small steps and all that. As it doesn't suit me I'll keep from behaving like a jerk for a 'lil while longer, though I'll ask us to be more constructive and keep our tempers in check in the future. Let's play nice, eh, and save the blow-ups for somewhere else. Like GameFAQs. Papacha 05:56, 15 May 2006 (UTC)
Trust me I have no idea what you are saying! Anyway, I dunno why. I try improving an article, and I get badged by some idiot editor/s who think they know better. Anyway, good luck making this article better!
- Well dear Xino, I'll fare my blatent idiocy against your contributions any time regarding articles. -ZeroTalk 14:18, 18 May 2006 (UTC)
Collector's version?
editIs it true that this game came in a standard and collector's edition? I thought it only came in one. --Philo 12:26, 15 December 2006 (UTC)
