The result of the move request was: Page to be moved. No opposition and request seems well grounded. Also, as BD2412 suggests, the disambiguation page won't be needed any more so I will request the move to take place direclty over the top of that. Note: page move not yet completed as the target paget needs to be removed first. I have requested this, or any competent admin could complete it. Dear Octopus (play) → Dear Octopus – The play appears to be significantly better known than the film adaptation, and so should be treated as the primary meaning, the film can be treated as a hatnote. PatGallacher (talk) 17:11, 22 December 2013 (UTC)
- Support, the play does seem to have had a far greater reach than the film (which is itself merely an adaptation of the play). The disambiguation page is a WP:TWODABS trifle, and can be obliterated. bd2412 T 20:41, 26 December 2013 (UTC)
