The result of the move request was: Move. Should an article for the other Deerfoot be created, we can revisit the title. Cúchullain t/c 01:32, 6 April 2015 (UTC)Reply

Deerfoot (runner)Deerfoot – The location "Deerfoot" currently redirects to Deerfoot Trail, a freeway in Calgary, which was apparently named after the runner. I would have thought therefore that per long term significance, and the fact that the current redirect target is not actually called "Deerfoot" itself (it's called "Deerfoot Trail"), the runner should be at the main page location, with a simple hatnote to the freeway. The only counterargument would be if the freeway is frequently and commonly known by the shorthand "Deerfoot" moniker, in which case it would also be a contender. Thanks.  — relisted --Mike Cline (talk) 14:23, 29 March 2015 (UTC). Amakuru (talk) 22:29, 21 March 2015 (UTC)Reply
