Iraq 2003 issues

edit

I really don't think this section is appropriate in this article. There are already a number of, admittedly badly written, articles on the topic which could be linked to under see also. In the absence of any convincing argument for it's retention I'll delete it in a few days.ALR 15:05, 22 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:ICG Logo.jpg

edit

Image:ICG Logo.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Overview of British intelligence - new article

edit

I have created a United Kingdom intelligence community page where we can address the broad issues, such as the relative scope of MI5 and MI6 (as mentioned here). Starting with the list of key agencies shown at the global List of intelligence agencies. It should provide an appropriate place to deal with some of the ambiguities that the present atomised articles fail to cover well.

To discuss, please use this Talk page. Earthlyreason (talk) 07:10, 3 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Names of Chiefs of Defence Intelligence

edit

Is it really a good idea to name the chief of British Defence Intelligence?

It is in the public domain already. It was announced on the RAF web site in June 2008. If you google his name you can find the reference.

It's no more secret than the names of the Directors-General of the Security Service and SIS, or the Director of GCHQ. GetMKWearMKFly (talk) 12:46, 22 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

ACDS(IC) and DCI3

edit

The relationship (hierarchy/chain of command) between ACDS(IC) and DCI3 seems unclear. Both seem responsible for the same things. Both are 2* officers. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Brixmismission (talkcontribs) 09:33, 4 November 2013 (UTC)Reply
