• Comment – the state is indeed called Rivers, not Rivers State. It is the state of Rivers, not the state of Rivers state. Unless I might be American-centric. cookie monster 755 23:13, 5 December 2021 (UTC)

• @CookieMonster755: Of course you are American-centric, the correct name is 'Rivers State' not the 'state of Rivers' as used for Brazilian states. Josedimaria237 (talk) 09:27, 6 December 2021 (UTC)

• Weak oppose per Talk:Asaba, Delta#Requested move 4 December 2021, while "Rivers" is quite ambiguous its self it doesn't seem ambiguous within the context of identifying Degema. Crouch, Swale (talk) 17:23, 12 December 2021 (UTC)
• Move to Degema, Nigeria. Per the recently-updated WP:PLACEDAB, Nigerian cites are disambiguated with the country name. 162 etc. (talk) 17:32, 28 December 2021 (UTC)

  Note that there is apparently another place in Nigeria in Benue state but it doesn't appear on the map so may be NN at best so moving is probably OK. Crouch, Swale (talk) 17:40, 28 December 2021 (UTC)
