Having considered all the aspects, I think Eugenics in Showa Japan should not be merged to Demographics of Imperial Japan but with Militarism-Socialism in Showa Japan and Japanese military-political doctrines in the Showa period. The reasons are : "demographics" concern not only Showa era but three eras, Eugenism in Showa Japan was directly related to the militarist policies of the Showa era, originating from the hakko ichiu, which promoted the superiority of the "Japanese race" and its right to conquer Asia. --Flying tiger 12:43, 19 April 2007 (UTC)
