Divo, Côte d'Ivoire → Divo Department — Dab between towns/cities and departments. Applies to all in Category:Departments of Côte d'Ivoire. See Category:Departments by country Niger, Senegal, Burkina Faso do the same. All outside Africa except France use X Department too. Question

Is there really a purpose to each of those articles that this page links to about all the departments? Clicking them brings you to a one sentence article that usually reiterates what you could have gotten from this page alone, at least from what I've seen. Either we need to expand pretty much all the articles this links to, or get rid of them. I assume expanding would be the preferred choice. Any input? --Thekmc (talk) 18:05, 3 February 2011 (UTC)

Request to update new departments since 2011

I have a request to suggest. May someone update the new departments since the 2011 re-organization? From some sources that I heard of or found, the total number of departments is actually 95, while others think the total is 104. jlog3000 (talk) 14:57, 6 April 2015 (UTC)
