It would be good to add a section discussing the interrelationship between DRBFM and FMEA. 103.4.124.12 (talk) 00:50, 22 November 2012 (UTC)
I've placed a tag proposing a merger, as this particular Quality tool is closely related to the concept, and may not be WP:N to merit its own article. Thoughts? Boogerpatrol (talk) 23:07, 2 May 2013 (UTC)
- DRBFM should not be merged with FMEA. DRBFM now has it own SAE J2886 DRBFM Recommended Practice published and AIAG will be publishing a DRBFM Reference document in April of 2014. Companies that use DRBFM do not view DRBFM the same as DFMEA. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:4:1B00:1B7:8CC2:B512:58F4:1DF6 (talk) 14:28, 7 March 2014 (UTC)
Both, DFMEA and DRBFM are tools for risk analysis. Nevertheless, they are individual methods on their own, that only have a few overlappings in the approach. Therefore, a merge of FMEA and DRBFM articles should not be done.Wernernico (talk) 12:20, 6 May 2014 (UTC)
