editHope you don't mind but there was a paragraph that was showing up all on one line, and it made the whole thing illegible in Mobile Safari.Cardiffman (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 04:56, 19 June 2012 (UTC)

Doral Golf Resort & Spa → Trump National Doral Miami – The resort has officially been renamed from Doral Golf Resort & Spa to Trump National Doral Miami. --Relisted. Andrewa (talk) 01:46, 19 March 2014 (UTC) 151.193.220.28 (talk) 15:15, 10 March 2014 (UTC)
- support but please notice that I have added link-(2times) to the Golf Club site. It comes up both ways in search engines-(Golf club and resort having somewhat different listings) Support adding Trump but make sure about the "official" name(s) or are they for sure using one name now? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.0.133.234 (talk) 23:56, 12 March 2014 (UTC)
- Relisting comment: The official name doesn't count for much under the article naming policy. I note that the existing name is associated with the Doral Open which no longer runs but appears to have some fame. Have a look at the article naming policy; Is there any evidence that this proposed name change would be an improvement? Agree that we should have a redirect from the proposed new name (and possibly several others such as Blue Monster) but that doesn't need a move. Andrewa (talk) 01:48, 19 March 2014 (UTC)
- I understand that the official name doesn't matter, such as the example given for FIFA, and I should not have used that word, but the resort is no longer called Doral Golf Resort & Spa. It seems confusing to me to have the new name redirect to an article titled with the old name that then refers to the new name in the content. The first reason listed for moving a page on the Moving a Page article: 'The subject of the article has changed its name,' which would be the case here. 151.193.220.28 (talk) 14:27, 19 March 2014 (UTC)

Candidate Donald J. Trump
editThanks for a good article. Enjoyed reading, so far. As you may notice, Trump is mentioning the places around the world he has great building and golf courses, and he seems to always mention "Dural Miami" golf resort. Some time later, this could be mentioned, perhaps. -- AstroU (talk) 05:17, 14 April 2016 (UTC)
AHRI $700,650 lobbying, add here or where ?
editA special interest group Air Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI) paid Trump’s National Doral $700,650 for an event in 2017. Less than two weeks after the November meeting, the Trump administration announced its support for a policy the AHRI had lobbied in favor.

- Probably doesn't belong on wikipedia as it looks very much like contentious synthesis supported by a non-neutral source. wjematherplease leave a message... 15:13, 12 March 2020 (UTC)
