Who gets promoted
editIn the Intermediate championship, the two teams from the final Round Towers and Thomas Davis go on to qualify for the A Championship in 2007, is it only the winning team, namely St Marks that go on to the A championship or so both teams go on to the A championship like in the Intermediate? Fair use rationale for Image:Dublinnewcrest.png
editImage:Dublinnewcrest.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
Requested move
edit- The following discussion is an archived discussion of the proposal. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the proposal was moved pursuant to the other RM mentioned in discussion (the latter article was actually part of that RM). --BDD (talk) 18:29, 26 February 2013 (UTC) (non-admin closure)
- Dublin GAA Senior B Hurling Championship → Dublin Senior B Hurling Championship
- Antrim GAA Minor Football Championship → Antrim Minor Football Championship
– Following long discussions and the establishment of a consensus here and here on naming conventions for articles about the Gaelic Athletic Association, some 98 articles and categories need to be renamed by an admin in order to revert them to their conventional names from which they had been displaced. (They can't be moved by an editor as the page names to which they are reverting exist as redirects with edit history). Full list at User:Brocach/List of GAA articles for renaming. Brocach (talk) 20:16, 10 February 2013 (UTC)
- Rename all the articles per nominator, and per the consensus at WT:GA that there is no need to include the word "GAA" in the article titles.
However, the two categories should not have been included in this list, because category renaming should be proposed at WP:CFD. In any case the renamings proposed to those 2 categories are of a different nature to the article renamings: they do not involve the removal of the word "GAA", and are in fact a proposal to upmerge the categories. If they are brought to WP:CFD, I will oppose them. --BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 20:29, 10 February 2013 (UTC) - Note to closing admin. There is some overlap between this list and the list at Talk:London GAA Intermediate_Football_Championship#Requested_move. --BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 21:07, 10 February 2013 (UTC)
