Best known
editThe article currently states: "Dustin Brown has recently been best known for intentionally injuring Finnish player Jussi Jokinen by aiming a hit towards his head after the end of a game in IIHWC 2008." Of course that incident can be mentioned, but stating that Brown would be best known for that is a bit ridiculous. Leading the NHL in hits in season 2007–2008 [1] (which isn't even mentioned in the article) and being the captain of his team are nothing? :) ,,n (talk) 15:41, 18 December 2009 (UTC)
Nude on ESPN
editIt should be in the article that he is the ony athlete to appear nude in a full frontal shot broadcast worldwide by ESPN. http://www.outsports.com/forums/index.php?s=838ed7248591855f75ee1c991b699d87&showtopic=3454&st=0&p=65117&#entry65117 and http://myworldtoday.wordpress.com/category/uncategorized/page/2/. 72.209.63.226 (talk) 00:39, 1 March 2010 (UTC)
Add parenthetical suffix?
editThis week, Dustin Brown (tennis) was the sixth-most viewed article. What do we think about moving this article (about the hockey player) to Dustin Brown (ice hockey) and pointing Dustin Brown to Dustin Brown (disambiguation)? Let's discuss as needed. KConWiki (talk) 11:44, 15 July 2015 (UTC)
- The tennis player had a burst of interest due to knocking off Nadal, but in a normal month, the hockey player averages 2-3x the page views, if that is the metric we choose to judge by. Given his age and ranking, I doubt the tennis player will become more than that one-day feel good story, but time will tell there. Resolute 15:15, 15 July 2015 (UTC)

Something to watch out for
editKings fans know Brown has been in a bit of a slump since his glory days of when he was first captain. Last year, he hit the 30 point mark for the first time since his first Stanley Cup. But last night against the Colorado Avalanche, he scored the game-winning overtime goal. There was an A on his sweater. He's already got 28 points in 36 games this season, holy smokes. Do you guys think he's been permanently re-promoted, to some degree? I couldn't find any references on it besides last night's highlight reel. 2607:FCC8:9E83:F900:D0A4:D4FD:2074:6837 (talk) 13:54, 22 December 2017 (UTC)
- With all due respect, Wikipedia isn't a hockey discussion forum. -- Gmatsuda (talk) 06:41, 24 December 2017 (UTC)
- Of course, I did see the header at the top, I apologize if this sounds like a forum post. It's just something I hope no one overlooks so as soon as anything official comes up, put it in. The possibility's likely, considering he's one off of matching his goal total from last year, in just under half the amount of games he played. Keep your eyes sharp for references on the subject - I see a lot of high-profile NHL articles get neglected. 2607:FCC8:9E83:F900:340B:3866:55E4:A0F8 (talk) 17:58, 26 December 2017 (UTC)
