Date of first English edition
editWorldcat lists 1945, but multiple sources cite a 1947 edition. Can anyone look into this further? Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 14:33, 21 June 2023 (UTC)

– Per WP:ENGLISHTITLE. The book has been published under this name since 1945, and a Google Scholar search reveals multiple entries using that name, including critical book reviews. Ed [talk] [majestic titan] 16:44, 21 July 2023 (UTC)
- Note: pages with content, such as Smoke over Birkenau, are ineligible to be proposed titles in move requests unless they, too, are formally dispositioned. "Smoke over Birkenau → Smoke over Birkenau (disambiguation)" has been added to this request to meet that requirement. P.I. Ellsworth , ed. put'er there 00:55, 25 July 2023 (UTC)
