A fact from East Redmond, Washington appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know column on 21 August 2017, and was viewed approximately 4,994 times (disclaimer) (check views). The text of the entry was as follows:

Geography
edit"At the time of its incorporation, East Redmond had a total size of 4.5 square miles (12 km2); the town shrunk to just over one square mile (2.6 km2) by the end of 1957. It was three times larger than the neighboring town of Redmond."
Perhaps that last sentence ought to read "During the earlier period, it was.."? Harfarhs (talk) 13:55, 21 August 2017 (UTC)

- Is it known who opposed the gravel mine, other than just "Dincov's neighbors"?
- Also, I think it should be "Dincovs' neighbors".
- AGF on the newspapers used.

- @CycloneIsaac: There were dozens of neighbors in opposition, but not many were specifically named. Chainged to "Dincovs'". SounderBruce 19:57, 11 September 2017 (UTC)
