The -bach in Eastbach seemingly betokens an batch/burn/borne/beck/brook/stream. Indeed, from by map eyeballing it could be one of the most southernset placenames to bear the 'bach' wordbit. Though I have eyeballed one (or was it two(?) -bach placename in Devon. I know (spelt bach)/batch) they are a westside English thing but I didn't think -bach- placenames leap the Sewern river nevemind further down into deepest Devonshireland, that's why I reckon somehow the bach in Devon is from the historic German minermen there.
