Spelling
editAll the official websites (city, province, governor) spell the name as Elazığ, without the diacritic on the 'a'. Colonies Chris (talk) 13:06, 4 October 2014 (UTC)
- This is wrong, as according to TDK, place names with soft l's retain the circumflex, and TDK gives Elâzığ as an example https://www.tdk.gov.tr/icerik/yazim-kurallari/duzeltme-isareti/
Move discussion in progress
editThere is a move discussion in progress on Talk:İstiklâl Marşı which affects this page. Please participate on that page and not in this talk page section. Thank you. —RMCD bot 18:14, 6 November 2017 (UTC)
Kurdish settlements
editPer history section it was never Kurdish settlement but Armenian. Why you adding OR? Shadow4dark (talk) 18:07, 28 November 2020 (UTC)
Spelling error in the title
editElâzığ is written with a circumflex above the a according to TDK (Turkish Language Association)
