Talk:El-Jazzar Mosque

Is this really the correct name of the mosque? Alot of sources says it is Al-Jazzar Mosque, while others say The White Mosque or Mosque of Ahmad Pasha al-Jazzar. If someone is from Acre or speaks arabic it would be great to know if this is the correct name.

If you search on google, jezzar pasha mosque shows 334 hits while for example Al-Jazzar Mosque shows 2,440. I don't know if that matters but both the Arabic and the Hebrew wiki says Al-Jazzar Mosque.

Also look at this picture: he.wikipedia.org (Should it be al-jazzar or el-jazzar? jazzer or jazzar?)

What do you think? --Fipplet (talk) 21:12, 27 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Al-Jazzar Mosque is fine. --Al Ameer son (talk) 19:53, 28 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
You're right that it is only a start. I think I'll not change the name, by the way. Jezzar Pasha feels good. Unless someone else has something to say.--Fipplet (talk) 16:54, 1 January 2009 (UTC)Reply
