What sense does it make to speedy-delete this English Canadian version that is a direct translation of the well established French Canadian version in Wikipédia? Must one be more famous in one of our official languages than in the other? (BTW, the French version has a note calling for more references, so I added the Facebook citation there as the source of the biographical info).
Anyways, the individual has had a major movie part, been on various television programs, and is a rising Youtube star (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TJU_V3H4gcY ) . How does one correctly indicate the importance of this in English? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Summerbell (talk • contribs) 18:42, 11 July 2009 (UTC)

To whoever is invigilating this notability issue: please give explicit instructions what more is needed here, rather than just subjectively and irreproducibly deciding that the article does not meet notability guidelines. If this article is simply deleted without intelligent personal commentary on this matter, I will stand down as a contributor. Wikipedia is getting so byzantine in its rule-boundedness that soon only its editors will dare work on it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Summerbell (talk • contribs) 13:51, 23 July 2009 (UTC)
