I came acis article and also noticed the "new" pictures appeared distorted on my screen as well both in the article and when viewed separately on their own pages. I reverted to the previous version but another editor already beat me to it. I'm curious as to why the original images were replaced to begin with. I have no idea why the editor has done this. I've posted to his talk page. In his edit summary he mentioned they "look ok on his monitor" so I'm assuming at the moment the problem is he has his resolution stretched, and has distorted them to work for him, but not for anyone else. It's most odd, and he's been very persistent about inserting them. But no, nothing wrong with the Commons pics - great pics, and no reason to change them.
