Well, I found one source that seem to verify Allen did indeed name ES's predecessor after his mother...
- [1] It does mention in the article that CF was named after his mother, Carolyn Folks.

History
editEntertainment Studios was founded by Byron Allen in 1993 as CF Entertainment [1] The company was initially focused on producing low-cost, syndicated non-fiction programming, including interview series and court shows (largely scripted from actual testimony). Allen serves as host for some of these programs.[2] DHX1961 (talk) 17:09, 4 October 2019 (UTC)
How about adding a section about the origins of Entertainment Studios coming from Byron Allen producing and hosting a talk show in 1989 under the name BYCA Productions and BYCA Distribution?[3] BYCA might not be the same company, but it was the forerunner to CF Entertainment/Entertainment Studios.

Entertainment Studios now Allen Media Group
editcheck the website. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.47.40.121 (talk) 12:14, 11 March 2020 (UTC)
- The interesting thing is, while the frontpage does indeed have the "AMG" "Allen Media Group" logo on it, the website still identifies as "Home - Entertainment Studios Corporate". 2600:1700:C960:2270:5585:E7B6:8C33:CBA5 (talk) 20:43, 26 February 2021 (UTC)

Please add "Allen Media Broadcasting" to the list of divisions for Entertainment Studios. The "Allen Media Broadcasting" section of the article even refers to the broadcaster as a division of Entertainment Studios. 2600:1700:C960:2270:1D92:339B:AE75:887C (talk) 09:05, 7 April 2021 (UTC)
- Not done: I don't think it makes sense to go there as Allen Media Broadcasting is an entirely separate broadcasting group and is not a program. Sennecaster (What now?) 23:17, 9 April 2021 (UTC)

Entertainment Studios → Allen Media Group – Website for Entertainment Studios (entertainmentstudios.com) is no longer active. After doing a Google search for "entertainment studios", first search result listed is website (allenmedia.tv) for Allen Media Group. - Oppose. From what I can see, both Allen Media Group and Entertainment Studios are still in existence. A dead URL is not sufficient evidence to make a title change at this point. 162 etc. (talk)— Preceding undated comment added 18:26, 7 February 2023 (UTC)

Entertainment Studios → Allen Media Group – Entertainment Studios is now a subsidiary of Allen Media Group, and this article has come to describe the entirety of AMG beyond, but also including, ES. Allen Media Group's Investor Relations page https://allenmedia.tv/ir/ describes the relationship between the two as such:
On the https://allenmedia.tv website, the Entertainment Studios section of the company is listed in the Business Units dropdown as "The Network Group". Its website, https://esnetworks.tv/, appears to reference both "Allen Media Group Networks" and "Entertainment Studios Networks" brands, but the primary logo and the copyright in the footer both mention are both now AMG. In addition, the copyright notice of allenmedia.tv reads "Copyright 2023, Allen Media Group".In short, Entertainment Studios is no longer legally or publicly the name by which the whole subject matter of this article is known; it is Allen Media Group. Gus Polly (Talk | Contribs) 04:46, 26 September 2023 (UTC) — Relisting. – robertsky (talk) 15:21, 4 October 2023 (UTC)In 1993, Byron Allen started Entertainment Studios (ES). Since then he has built a media empire that includes everything from Broadcast Television Stations to Mobile APPS and OTT platforms that are transforming our business.
In 2018, Mr. Allen established ALLEN MEDIA GROUP, (AMG) which encompasses all of the original business units from his (ES) banner, upon which he has built and expanded.

What happened to Entertainment Studios Motion Pictures?
editTheir social media presence has been completely removed and their website hasn't been updated since 2021. It isn't the most Google-able name, but even still I couldn't find anything at all about it going bust or being shut down. There is no update on this page, which talks about it as though it is still active. If anyone has any sources on what happened there could you please edit that section? Not knowing is driving me insane!!! Mr Blumenthal (talk) 20:26, 7 December 2023 (UTC)
