Talk:Equivalent isotropically radiated power

"isotropically" is not a word.

So says 75.157.129.218. A lot of people use -ly, though, including IEEE Std. 100. --Wtshymanski (talk) 14:22, 10 October 2008 (UTC)Reply
After thinking about it for a while, I've put it back the way I found it, with a reference. --Wtshymanski (talk) 18:57, 10 October 2008 (UTC)Reply
Also, a lot of sources use effective instead of equivalent.. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 129.241.203.47 (talk) 10:13, 9 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

What about merging Equivalent isotropically radiated power into Effective radiated power? The former does have a very similar alternative name, "Effective isotropically radiated power". (Please discuss it there, not here.) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.138.158.200 (talk) 01:46, 7 May 2009 (UTC)Reply
