edit

The editor "Alaexis" publishes falsified information in this article! The fact is that Marina and Sergey lived in the United States, and their books were the first to be published in Ukrainian! These writers have always said that they are UKRAINIAN authors! They lived in Moscow for a very short time, but they did not like Russia and the couple emigrated to the United States, where they lived in California.

Here is a quote from the Wikipedia article:

"They write in Russian, but often publish their books in Ukrainian first. The Dyachenkos are from Kyiv. For a time, they lived in Russia and currently reside in California. Serhiy Dyachenko died 5 May 2022 (aged 77) in United States"

See Wikipedia - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maryna_and_Serhiy_Dyachenko

Editor "Alaexis" unlawfully undoes my edits and leaves falsified information on Wikipedia. 178.150.242.185 (talk) 03:45, 10 May 2022 (UTC)178.150.242.185 aka IvanReply

The article just says that they write in Russian. There is no contradiction with them publishing them in Ukrainian too, so I don't understand the reasons for the removal of their names. While we are at it, could you provide the original source for this statement as Wikipedia is not considered a reliable source per WP:RS. Alaexis¿question? 06:49, 17 May 2022 (UTC)Reply
The paragraph misleads. The Dyachenkos have moved to California and Kamsha moved to Petersburg before she started to write long before the language law. Now the paragraph suggests, that the writers emigrated because of some problems in Ukraine. Xx236 (talk) 10:12, 13 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

Russophobia

edit

This is about one party. The periods and areas should be listed, now one may understand that the party was influential in whole Ukraine.Xx236 (talk) 10:33, 13 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

Why was "List of Ukrainians of Russian ethnicity" deleted?

edit

Why was "List of Ukrainians of Russian ethnicity" deleted and redirected to "List of people from Ukraine"? 77.125.217.248 (talk) 23:08, 22 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

I would think that Russians would be listed as Russians for the same reason that in most countries someone notable is identified with their preferred ethnicity, not by the country where they're living and for which their only connection might be employment. 2603:6010:4500:7061:E16C:9B30:4B76:487F (talk) 20:34, 26 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
