editI don't think the first years of Barcelona in the European Cup can be considered as "largely unsuccessful" - until their win in 1992, they participated four times, reaching the finals twice and the semi-finals the other two times... so I changed the sentence in the first paragraph. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 194.213.35.130 (talk) 10:47, 9 February 2017 (UTC)
I have significantly amended this article because it is implied that UEFA Cup and Fairs Cup is the same competition, which is simply absolutely false. I have included a link to UEFA's official website, where the total number of Barcelona's European trophies appears (http://www.uefa.com/footballEurope/Club=50080/competition=1/index.html). Robert King.
The Inter City Fairs Cup competition record should be included here and FC Barcelona's 3 wins should be added to their 9 other European trophies. In 50 Years Of The European Cup And Champions League (2005) by Keir Radnedge these wins are included. The majority of statisticians also recognise these as European wins. I have also relocated above link to External Link section. Djln --Djln 20:23, 18 May 2006 (UTC)
- 50 Years Of The European Cup And Champions League (2005) by Keir Radnedge IS NOT the same respect Champions Magazine (and official website) by UEFA. --Dantemateo 01:57, 9 February 2007 (UTC)

--BarcelonaMarc 18:32, 10 February 2007 (UTC)
- In spanish: ¿Según quién?
—Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.42.213.93 (talk) 15:48, 12 June 2009 (UTC)
Mistake
editThere is a huge mistake in this page that Inter Cities Fairs Cup is UEFA Cup, That's truly wrong. You should fix that by omitting the un-official (Inter Cities Fairs Cup) or making another list for it.--Life alone (talk) 12:21, 28 August 2010 (UTC) Another mistake : Pyrenees Cup is not international/European competition, correct that. It was regional competition like nowadays friendly cups.--Life alone (talk) 15:41, 28 August 2010 (UTC)
