Monaco capital
editCan we please get one thing straight. Monte Carlo (although it may seem a bit weird), but it's not the capital of Monaco. If you go on the Monaco page, then you will notice this. Pch172 (talk) 09:22, 12 April 2014 (UTC)
- We did away with the note for capitals on the season page. Is it still worth noting here? JohnMcButts (talk) 15:54, 12 April 2014 (UTC)
- Probably not worth having at all, as this has no bearing on the sport what so ever Pch172 (talk) 17:32, 26 June 2014 (UTC)
I am strongly in favour of merging these 2 articles and there are 2 very good reasons why:
1) Partly because the latter article does not contain "F1" in the title, but mainly...
2) Because there are links between the 2. Richard Branson's involvement is minimal, but Alex Tai is listed as a team member on the latter page.
Just putting it out there. Holdenman05 (talk) 08:08, 21 June 2014 (UTC)
- I don't know why it was unmerged. --Falcadore (talk) 12:36, 21 June 2014 (UTC)
Drivers' Club
editIs the drivers club notable? I've been updating it as the new drivers are announced, but many of the people won't even race. Is it worth keeping? JohnMcButts (talk) 18:29, 2 July 2014 (UTC)
- No. Michela Cerruti and Antonio Felix da Costa weren't part of the so-called "Drivers' Club" but are being signed to the series. There is no point keeping it. Holdenman05 (talk) 23:27, 7 July 2014 (UTC)
Road coarse
editCurrently, only the Mexico City ePrix takes place on a road course, a modified version of the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez.[2] Is Hong Kong not a Road course, it certainly takes place on a Road! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.186.84.150 (talk) 09:46, 8 October 2016 (UTC)
Pages for ePrix and circuits?
editIsn't it about time to think about Wiki-pages for the ePrix and circuits? What naming scheme should we use? Beijing ePrix or Formula E Beijing ePrix? And what about the circuit names? The official homepage doesn't really provide a useful name, except Beijing Circuit [2], which sounds too generic to me. Wild8oar (talk) 08:26, 10 July 2014 (UTC)
- We will use the official names used by the championship. --Falcadore (talk) 13:56, 10 July 2014 (UTC)

FIA Formula E Championship → Formula E – Per WP:COMMONNAME and WP:PRIMARYTOPIC. Formula E is the commonly used name for the series, per Google and the motorsport press. The only valid link on the disambiguation page is Formula Enterprises, a redirect to Formula SCCA, with 49 Google news hits, compared to 145,000 for the Formula E championship. This is clearly the primary topic. QueenCake (talk) 18:36, 22 July 2015 (UTC)

Current Season
editWhen do we change the current season from 2016-17 to 2017-18 - is there a specified date of changeover? Wikipediaeditperson (talk) 17:27, 25 August 2017 (UTC)

List of broadcasters
editThe list of broadcasters seems a bit excessive to me. It takes up a large part of the article and seems hardly noteworthy. Any opinions on this? I see that for F1 it is a separate article (List of Formula One broadcasters). Should we do the same here and just leave a short summary paragraph in the main article? Wild8oar (talk) 09:29, 13 January 2019 (UTC)
E-Prix vs ePrix
editSince season 4, the official way of referring to a Formula E race is "E-Prix." Races are called the Diriyah E-Prix, the Rome E-Prix, the Marrakesh E-Prix, etc. However, every single Formula E article, even after season 3, still refers to a Formula E race as an "ePrix," which is now incorrect. How can we correct every single instance of this from season 3 onwards easily? JoeyofthePriuses (talk) 00:22, 9 November 2019 (UTC)
Updated Formula E Logo
editFIA Formula E have had a new logo since the beginning of Season 5 with a different shade of blue they call 'Electric Blue'. The source image can be found on their public Brand Assets Site[1]. --FormulaCamel (talk) 13:29, 28 April 2020 (UTC)
References
CEO - Jamie Reigle
editCEO Jamie Reigle should really be mentioned in this article. We mention Alejandro - Founder and Chairman - but not Jamie. He joined in September 2019[1]. FormulaCamel (talk) 09:38, 4 May 2020 (UTC)
Discussion about name of 2020–21 Formula E Championship

Teo Teocoli
editI just removed Teo Teocoli from the History section. I believe he does not have anything to do with the founding of Formula E because his name doesn't appear or mentioned in any source before the paragraph was added (which is from 17th of December 2018, added after the date of the three sources).
I may just corrected a hoax that seems as true because of circular reporting. If you guys look up 'Teo Teocoli Formula E' on Google, you will find all sorts of sources (all of them dated after the edit above) mentioning Teo in the dinner where Agag, Tajani and Todt conveived FE. Duels
editCould someone please explain what is meant by duels in qualifying? Are the two cars on the track at the same time or is it one at a time? If it is one at a time how is the order decided? (78.19.152.229 (talk) 21:05, 1 August 2023 (UTC))
Pole time at which track
editCurrently, in the Comparison section, we have Pole Time at Berlin. Is there a reason to choose Berlin? Would it make more sense to replace that with Pole Time at Monaco? The Monaco track is used by both E1 and F1, which should make it more useful for comparisons than Berlin. Ben Aveling 10:19, 12 July 2024 (UTC)
