Named tributaries
editJakec "Fall Brook has no named tributaries. However, it has a number of unnamed tributaries.[1] These include "Moutain Mud Pond Run", "Sandy Banks Run", "Unnamed trib 1", "Unnamed trib 2", "Finch Hill Run", "Crystal Lake Creek", and "Unnamed trib 3".[3]" Aren't "Mountain Mud Pond Run", "Sandy Banks Run" etc etc named? - Thanks Jakec for fixing this issue. The Rambling Man (talk) 18:18, 30 June 2015 (UTC)
Uglybridges.com
editJakec, I had a quick look at the above website, it has a disclaimer on the homepage saying "Disclaimer: All data is taken from the National Bridge Inventory and has not been verified." so, in your opinion, how does this qualify under WP:RS? Thanks. The Rambling Man (talk) 19:51, 30 June 2015 (UTC)
- The data itself comes from the National Bridge Inventory (as you saw) and that is in turn compiled by a branch of the US government. I'm assuming that uglybridge's role is slurping up and prettying up the data. --Jakob (talk) aka Jakec 20:43, 30 June 2015 (UTC)
- So there's no way of citing the National Bridge Inventory directly? For obvious reasons, websites that simply claim to copy data from a reliable source and add disclaimers such as "has not been verified" cannot be considered WP:RS. The Rambling Man (talk) 20:45, 30 June 2015 (UTC)
