editThe infobox indicates that Family Affairs was a comedy, but the content of the article does not mention this and the description of it as a serial makes me wonder if this is right, as TV serials tend not to be comedies. Does anyone have a source for the comedy claim? Dunarc (talk) 20:51, 31 January 2019 (UTC)
First televison serial?
editI note that the article, with a citation from a usually reliable source - parliamentary papers, states that this was the "first television serial". The issue with this is the article for the 1938 series Ann and Harold equally states that "Ann and Harold was the first ever British television serial. Both cannot be right, and the weight of evidence would seem to point to Ann and Harold having a superior claim. It could simply be that the information in the parliamentary papers was wrong, but I suppose the issue is also how "television serial" is defined. Nonetheless, I think the claim needs to be qualified. Dunarc (talk) 16:36, 4 February 2019 (UTC)
