Merge
editAnybody, considered an article about the list of candidates for the Family Coalition for this past election, so we can merge this article with it as it doesn't meet WP:BIO. If not during the next 7-10 days, I will proposed the article for deletion.--JForget 23:01, 11 October 2007 (UTC)

Proposed merge to Ontario general election, 2007 (candidates)
editOn reading this and related articles it seems that the party in question fielded either 83 candidates, of whom none won his seat, and the party's share of the popular vote in 2007 was 0.82%, and in 2003, 0.80%. 64 of the candidates placed fifth choice in their respective field of candidates, and 19 did not place in the first five candidates.
The article itself seems therefore to be a set of CVs of political candidates for a regional assembly who never had a hope of being elected and have, for the most part, played no other role, political or otherwise, meriting mention in this encyclopedia.
I propose that this article be merged to the general article about the candidates in this election (see link in section header). If any of these candidates does merit an article in his own right, then of course such an article may be created without prejudice to this merge. --Tony Sidaway 11:30, 16 December 2007 (UTC)

- The general article that you've proposed as a merge target is a results table, and the content of this article would be both inappropriate and out of place there. And for what it's worth, merged bio lists like this are standard practice for electoral candidates who aren't notable enough for their own standalone articles.
