Question
Todor Bozhinov → 11:04, 7 May 2006 (UTC)
Payroll
editDoes anyone know the payrolls of the clubs in the Bulgarian A Professional Football Group? Kenallen 01:17, 13 December 2006 (UTC)
Text please!
editSo far this article looks like a stats depot. There should be much more text on history and organization instead. Also, there is no place for a league table here. This is for the external links. please suggest a good source we can get the info from! --Cryout 21:57, 7 April 2007 (UTC)
- It certainly needs a history section, but there's no better way to present the champions, records and top goalscorers than tables and lists. Plus, other articles like Premier League 2006-07 or La Liga - 2006/2007 also have provisional league tables, which effectively renders this argument invalid. Also, I've always thought the best way to deal with anything you find not good enough is to improve it yourself ;) Todor→Bozhinov 22:21, 7 April 2007 (UTC)
- Point taken. Shame on me :-) I just want to see an interesting and well-built article. Anyway, consider this post as a reminder to myself that I should dig up additional info. --Cryout 00:15, 10 April 2007 (UTC)
- That's what we all want to see with every article :) There is a history section in the Bulgarian article, it might be of use, plus this. I'd be happy to help as well :) Todor→Bozhinov 08:25, 10 April 2007 (UTC)

Chernomorets Burgas
editAccording to World Soccer magazine Chernomorets Burgas Sofia´s points deduction is for failing to register enough youth players. It would be interesting to know more information on this penalty and reasons to their horrific season either here or in the club's article. For a non-Bulgarian it's hard to get information on Bulgarian football. Sebisthlm 16:29, 29 June 2007 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Coat varna new.gif
editImage:Coat varna new.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

List of Bulgarian football champions
editSomeone to create a list with Bulgarian football champions or a separate article with it. A table with Winners, Runners-up and Third Places. Thanks.--Alexiulian25 (talk) 14:26, 2 November 2015 (UTC)
Page title
editI reverted the undiscussed move of First Professional Football League (Bulgaria) (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) by Mattythewhite. I do not particularly care one way or another, but this left it inconsistent with Second Professional Football League (Bulgaria), Third Amateur Football League (Bulgaria), and a host of sub-articles such as 2017–18 First Professional Football League (Bulgaria).
While I can understand the rationale that "there's nothing to disambig", there are two schools of thought how to interpret WP:PRECISION of "ambiguous-sounding" titles like this one, one calling for "preemptive disambiguation" in favor of WP:RECOGNIZABILITY and the other citing WP:CONCISENESS. Either way, it needs a proper WP:RM to resolve the issue for all related articles. There is also a bunch of horribly named articles in Category:Bulgarian A Professional Football Group seasons such as 1958–59 A Group to be addressed along (probably 1958–59 Bulgarian A Group season). No such user (talk) 09:30, 1 August 2017 (UTC)
- I'd go for Bulgarian First Professional Football League as a title. That would make it somewhat consistent with articles on previous years (when the name of the competition was Bulgarian A Group).--Laveol T 10:41, 1 August 2017 (UTC)
- Sounds good to me, but shall we open a formal RM to get it done properly? No such user (talk) 11:55, 1 August 2017 (UTC)
Requested move 13 July 2022
edit- The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review after discussing it on the closer's talk page. No further edits should be made to this discussion.
The result of the move request was: no consensus to move the page to the proposed title at this time, per the discussion below. Dekimasuよ! 07:09, 23 July 2022 (UTC)
First Professional Football League (Bulgaria) → Bulgarian First Professional Football League – Country adjective + competition name, the most common way to disambiguate national football competitions. 47.203.197.43 (talk) 17:11, 13 July 2022 (UTC) — Relisting. — Ceso femmuin mbolgaig mbung, mellohi! Also, based on the History section in the main article, I recommend that season articles should be renamed as follows:
- 2016–17—Onwards: Bulgarian First Professional Football League
- 2005–06—2015–16: Bulgarian A Football Group
- 2003–04—2004–05: Bulgarian A Professional Football Group
- 2000–01—2002–03: Bulgarian Premier Professional Football League
- 1948–49—1999–00: Bulgarian A Republican Football Group
- Note: This discussion has been included in WikiProject Football's list of association football-related page moves. GiantSnowman 14:18, 16 July 2022 (UTC)
- Oppose - if the league is called 'First Professional Football League' and needs disambiguating then we do so at the end, see WP:QUALIFIER. GiantSnowman 14:21, 16 July 2022 (UTC)
