Talk:Fitz-Hugh–Curtis syndrome

Latest comment: 11 months ago by Chelsc.an in topic WikiMed Page Update Plan

I have had four surgeries to remove fibers caused by fitz-hugh-curtis syndrome. I was told that once surgery was performed, it would not return. I was not sexually active other than with my husband of 14 years. I am having another round with this disease and my doctor refuses to do anymore surgey for fear of more adhesion due to surgery. I am on pain killers and an anti inflammatory. Is there ANY other course of action I can take to rid myself of this painfull and inconvenant disorder? After 25 years of this, I am really tired of the daily struggle. Please contact me at jodiemo2000@yahoo.com

Hey Usamah, great editing! I did make a few notes as I was peer reviewing!
Is there a way to link Fitz Hugh similar to how Arthur Curtis was linked?
· Gonococcal tubal changes may be too scientific?
· “referred to the right shoulder” maybe can say which can be perceived as pain in the right shoulder (referred pain) or link to referred pain?
· Maybe cite a source for the risk factors section and diagnosis and workup section, if necessary?
· “It is important for practitioners to person for a thorough history and physical “?
· 57 kDa chlamydial heat shock protein may be too scientific?
· Chlamydia misspelling in treatment section Chelsc.an (talk) 07:35, 10 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
