good sandbox articles with images
editi found some sandbox pages of more or less inactive enwiki users:
- User:Alisterhaz: Tasmanian alpine vegetation communities and the effect of fire (also see Alpine vegetation of Tasmania)
- User:Yipingchen: Ecology of Tasmanian cool temperate rainforest bryophytes
- User:Yoshiaki_Kohno: Succession after Disturbance in Tasmanian Lowland Vegetation
the contents look valueable and there are some good images. maybe someone can make use of these pages? Holger1959 (talk) 22:42, 9 March 2014 (UTC)

Flora section, second paragraph: "The Tarkine..."
editI have a few problems with this paragraph, but particularly its prominent position as the second paragraph of the section, especially given the lack of reliable references and the use of nonsensical terms such as "Gondwanan rainforest" to describe extant vegetation.
In my opinion also the purpose of this part of the article should be to describe the flora of Tasmania in general terms, not its vegetation, which is summarised further down and also adequately described in articles such as Variation of Tasmanian vegetation from East to West and Alpine vegetation of Tasmania.
The paragraph smacks of having been placed here for political purposes, so if there is no objection I propose removing it altogether. MFdeS (talk) 01:11, 6 March 2019 (UTC)
- Given that there's no objection these past 2 weeks, I'll remove the section. MFdeS (talk) 01:01, 19 March 2019 (UTC)
