Male Beauty
editThe Florentine School favored male beauty. What was the name of the art school that saw beauty in females? Venetian was it? I can't recall. --71.107.217.63 (talk) 07:13, 21 November 2007 (UTC)
- Yes, Venetian School pretty well, particularly through Titian. Sorry about the 5 year wait for a reply... Mozzy66 (talk) 00:08, 22 June 2012 (UTC)
Importance and incompleteness
editArguably the most influential school of western art history, and for many synonymous with Renaissance art. I don't know what importance rating this attracts but presume it needs to be pretty high. Can someone competent assess it please?
Also, it is really incomplete it deals with the 14C really well, but then stops before the main game in the 15C. Anyone feel like expanding?Mozzy66 (talk) 00:13, 22 June 2012 (UTC)
