Question about FBQ and Grombach
editI'm creating a page for Foreign Broadcast Quarterly, Incorporated (FBQ)... but I need to know if FBQ was part of FBMS, or if Grombach was doing his own thing. I mean, he WAS doing his own thing without Donovan even knowing it, but I can't figure out if FBQ's parent was OSS, Goodfellow's office, Donovan, or the FBMS.
Alternatively, was FBQ just another name for FBMS? --Guylaen (talk) 12:16, 1 July 2024 (UTC)
Proposed merge with Foreign Broadcast Information Service
editThis article is the FB information service, I'm proposing that the FB intelligence service article be merged into this article on the information service. The intelligence service lasted a year before it was replaced by the information service. Right now it is a stub article. I propose they be merged.TeeTylerToe (talk) 22:06, 9 December 2015 (UTC)

Merge proposal
editMerge United States Joint Publications Research Service into Foreign Broadcast Information Service. JPRS was a component of FBIS, even according to the CIA ([1] [2]. There's not much content on JPRS that per WP:PAGEDECIDE would justify its own article, versus incorporating JPRS into the history and operations of FBI, its parent organization. - Merger complete. Klbrain (talk) 21:19, 25 November 2024 (UTC)
