Why is there only a black and white picture here and unbelievably with another player also on it ? There are plenty of decent examples of Francoise Durr in colour . This is a totally unsuitable picture for this article . If I knew how to do it I would fix it myself as I have many great pictures of Francoise Durr . Somebody please do something as this is a disgrace . — Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.254.79.109 (talk) 23:49, 18 December 2019 (UTC)Reply

The name of this article should be changed to "Francoise Durr" because that is the name used on the English-language websites of the official governing bodies of tennis, the Women's Tennis Association and the International Tennis Federation. That also is the name used on the English-language websites of the International Tennis Hall of Fame and Fed Cup. That is the name used in Hollander, Zander; Collins, Bud (1994). Bud Collins' Modern Encyclopedia of Tennis. Detroit, MI: Visible Ink Press. p. 468. ISBN 0-8103-9443-X. {{cite book}}: |access-date= requires |url= (help)CS1 maint: multiple names: authors list (link) Finally, that is the name used on the English-language website of the US Open: women's doubles, mixed doubles. Second serve

edit

Does anyone remember her weak second serve? No more than a pat: go to 4mins 25 25 sec https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IwHoFrBw5AA Bashereyre (talk) 15:22, 9 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

The serve as usual was well positioned and her opponent failed to return it in the example you direct us to . I could equally highlight a point in the same game of the match where she serves a really good ace at quite a pace . That was not the norm I grant . She looped the ball long in the service box and though usually very slow particularly by todays standards it was quite effective at keeping her opponent back with hard to handle bounces and she rarely served doubles .
