Infobox
editIs there any reason why Mompou has an infobox but other composers don't? I thought policy was not to have them for composers. -- JackofOz (talk) 05:53, 27 October 2008 (UTC)

Categories
editWhy has the category Spanish composers been removed? It is not redundant. --Karljoos (talk) 16:33, 16 August 2009 (UTC)
- Yes it is. The article belongs to Category:Catalan composers which is itself a member of Category:Spanish composers. In other words, catalan composers is a sub-category of spanish composers (see [1]). Therefore, this article is also part of the Spanish composers category. Putting an article in both categories is redundant. Calimo (talk) 06:42, 17 August 2009 (UTC)
- Fair enough. Thanks. --Karljoos (talk) 07:02, 17 August 2009 (UTC)
Name change
editI'm not entirely happy about the name change from Federico to Frederic - [2].
I readily acknowledge he was born Frederic and known as such to the Catalan-speaking people. But to the world at large - which is where the English-speaking live, and after all, this is English Wikipedia - he was Federico, and most of his compositions were published under that name. (Most, but not all: I do have some scores published by Salabert, some of which use Federico, but others use Frederic.) -- Jack of Oz [your turn] 13:15, 11 April 2011 (UTC)

Frederic Mompou → Federico Mompou – Since this is how he's known in the New Grove Dictionary, and in a fair amount of the other references used in this article, I think it should be moved back to that location. See also JackOfOz's comment immediately above.--SarekOfVulcan (talk) 18:58, 13 May 2011 (UTC)
- Support: as per my reasons stated above, and Sarek's arguments. -- Jack of Oz [your turn] 23:50, 13 May 2011 (UTC)
- I support that also per Wikipedia:Official names. Just look at the sources of this article: only very few of them use Frederic. Calimo (talk) 06:03, 15 May 2011 (UTC)

Barri de platja
editAs this chord is G♭-C-E♭-A♭-D, per cite, why is it notated here with a root F♯? Davidships (talk) 02:22, 21 June 2020 (UTC)
