editWhy can't we move this page to "Fruit Gushers"? Nobody calls them just "Gushers" anymore. WizardDuck 15:23, 5 June 2007 (UTC)
- Ah, good point. They are indeed named "Fruit Gushers", not just "Gushers".--Father Goose 15:37, 5 June 2007 (UTC)
- No way...everybody calls them gushers — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.74.71.138 (talk • contribs) 04:44, 6 June 2007 (UTC)

editWhat does everyone else think about the "page of weird beliefs" link? I lean toward deletion.Rkaufman13 (talk) 21:53, 30 December 2008 (UTC)
Add Campaigns
editIn 2010 Gushers made an odd comerical in which a girl tells the story of a boy born with a Gusher for an eye. It ends with the message got to Gusherforaneye.com —Preceding unsigned comment added by Lalaland45 (talk • contribs) 04:29, 2 October 2010 (UTC)

editI would say that Gushers are my favorite candy. i really do like this page and its extensive list of flavors including the discontinued ones. I do think that this page is lacking on how gushers are made, this would be one way to add on more to this page. Another way to add on to this page would be to include some citations, one last thing that makes me wary about this page is that they call them Fruit Gushers. I have never heard that name before everyone refers to gushers as just that GUSHERS. -- Ttyrell3 (talk) 23:25, 13 September 2016 (UTC)
As i can see everything in this article is very relevant to Gushers, which includes the flavors, ingredients and what it is and when and how it was made. Two of the references in this article are from articles and newspapers which i don't think are reliable sources. Although they do include Generalmills.com which is reliable in my opinion. -- Ttyrell3 (talk) 20:43, 18 September 2016 (UTC)
2011 Lawsuit
editFor some reason, this was in the opening paragraph of the article. I went ahead and made it its own section, but it may require some cleanup. Appears to use some opinionated language (and the user that added the text seems to have something of an agenda against Fruit Gushers, judging by their other recent edits to the article. 2601:603:207F:C476:3078:E14D:C5AE:62D (talk) 20:16, 28 March 2019 (UTC)
- Yes, that section still reads like it was written by someone with an axe to grind. --170.52.83.143 (talk) 22:46, 12 April 2019 (UTC)
- Agreed. I just went ahead and deleted the entire section. There are plenty of frivolous lawsuits against various junk food companies, and this one appears to have gone nowhere. Although I see some reliable sources reporting on this lawsuit, none of them were cited in the giant essay that was written, and I don't see any reason this particular lawsuit was all that notable to begin with. —Will(B) 14:05, 8 July 2019 (UTC)

editFake ingredients? The article states "Ingredients making up less than 2% of the product are: partially hydrogenated pure addiction, addicticain " Which are bogus ingredients... — Preceding unsigned comment added by 212.107.143.22 (talk) 05:51, 17 March 2020 (UTC)

Who was the person within the Betty Crocker company that created gushers?
editI would like to learn which person or peoples within the Betty Crocker company actually created the gusher. I feel they deserve more recognition 67.240.172.16 (talk) 23:56, 7 March 2022 (UTC)
Fred Provenza's Book
editWhy is 1/3rd of the wordcount of this page dedicated to someone's self-help book about eating more naturally? This seems out of place and either like advertising or like someone wanted to include more numbers on the page and found them in this book. Tomcatfish (talk) 03:19, 22 February 2023 (UTC)
- It seems to be a sufficiently-reliable source for the detailed caloric specifics, and their change over time. — Fourthords | =Λ= | 21:05, 28 February 2023 (UTC)
- Surely the caloric specifics can be sourced from the General Mills site (https://www.generalmillscf.com/products/category/snacks/fruit-snacks/fruit-gushers-flavor-mixers-8ct). Two sentences that essentially boil down to "chewy candy not healthier than a single strawberry" isn't exactly shocking. This seems like a place of promotion for Provenza. Tttttarleton (talk) 15:51, 12 September 2023 (UTC)
- Well, we'd prefer not to use primary sources when we can use secondary, but I agree that the judgy comparison is probably undue. I've trimmed it to just the facts. — Fourthords | =Λ= | 23:36, 13 September 2023 (UTC)
