edit"The guns were loaded at a fixed angle of 1°" is almost certainly a typo. Heavy guns of that era were invariably loaded at max elevation, since that put the breech end of the gun below the top of the heavy armor of the barbette. This is confirmed by the graphic of the turret, which shows the rammer and loading tray in line with the gun barrel at 15 degrees elevation.
