Game Symbol
editThe character ⅁ (U+2141, “TURNED SANS-SERIF CAPITAL G”) is also called “game”. This must be a mathematical symbol, but what does it stand for, or how is it used? --131.169.184.136 17:20, 21 August 2007 (UTC)

No representation for wild animal
editI don't know where the idea came from that animals referred to as "game" are strictly food, but where I'm from, they're just wild. Here, there's a Yellow River Game Ranch, and we certainly don't want to eat our weather groundhog, General Beauregard Lee — Supuhstar * — 05:00, 13 March 2013 (UTC)
- Game animals are hunted for food or sport, and the term comes from the latter use--game or sport hunting. Any animal that might be hunted for sport is therefore a game animal, whether or not it is actually hunted or eaten.--ShelfSkewed Talk 14:38, 13 March 2013 (UTC)
