YouTube Videos
editDo YouTube videos count as citations? If so, there's a number of news reports from the 16th October 1991 which lead with the ITV franchises - either from ITN painting a national picture, or regional news bulletins from stations which lost their franchise that day. There's also a video of the first GMTV show which clearly identifies the anchors.82.35.190.189 (talk) 02:59, 4 September 2011 (UTC)
Copyright infringement
editThis suspected copyright infringement refers to the Schedule section within the article, not the article itself. Under the Broadcasting Act 1990, to use BBC, ITV and Channel 4 schedules requires a royality to be paid to the broadcaster (collected by Broadcasting Dataservices). Failure to do so is a criminal offence. I have started a discussion here: Potential legal issue with UK Radio station schedules within articles. If it is a copyvio, the section will be removed immediately. --tgheretford (talk) 23:26, 21 October 2006 (UTC)
Note: The suspected copyvio is in all edits made after 01:16 March 14, 2006 (UTC) [1]
- I whipped the offending section out. As Tghe says, this is potentially a copyvio. However, even without the copyvio worries, it is clearly original research and unencyclopedic in tone. So we can lose it without the article losing anything of note. ➨ ЯEDVERS 16:16, 22 October 2006 (UTC)
- Again, I had to remove another schedule (diff). --tgheretford (talk) 19:09, 9 January 2007 (UTC)

How do you site a reference?
Lucy Steele 09:54, 13 November 2007 (UTC)
- You cite a reference like this <ref>Mr Mcgoo said this</ref>. Gustav von Humpelschmumpel 11:22, 13 November 2007 (UTC)
References
editSeveral references in this article come from tabloid newspapers. For example, the one about the GMTV Kids presenters leaving was from the Daily Mirror. Last time I checked, such sources were considered unreliable. The fact is correct, they did leave, but "made redundant"? For all we know, their contracts were simply about to end. ITV Breakfast Limited
editGMTV Limited has now been renamed as ITV Breakfast Limted.
Should we rename this article as ITV Breakfast or create a new one?
GMctalk 00:03, 18 July 2010 (UTC)
- I would opt for the latter, and make it clear in the article about the rename. -- [[ axg ◉ talk ]] 12:43, 20 July 2010 (UTC)
- Well it's just a name change really, so shouldn't the page just be renamed, the same information on the GMTV page as a company away from the show, would be the same information for ITV Breakfast as a company. Tom Southwell (talk) 00:22, 5 August 2010 (UTC)
- Oppose, GMTV is totally different to ITV breakfast.
- GMTV Ltd. was a separate breakfast station complete to ITV breakfast, and was not a simple name change. Therefore the page should remain separate.— Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.183.81.115 (talk • contribs) 14:51, 8 January 2015
- Please note that the above discussions, are before the Merge tag was added in December 2014. -- [[ axg // ✉ ]] 15:59, 8 January 2015 (UTC)

Was a fantastic actor that’s why he won awards ,the same as many other black actors Eddie Murphy dentil Washington the guy who played shaft Oprah Winfrey in the colour purple these people won because they deserved to Surely awards should be won on merit not colour ,I would want to win because of a fantastic performance not my race ,it’s the same with jobs now shouldn’t the job go to the person most able and would fit in because of their ability not to make up the numbers and that works both ways black white asian amongst others Carol beasley Carolb2008@live.co.uk 2A02:C7F:F68D:4700:DC0A:B520:D47E:2EDB (talk) 07:29, 10 January 2022 (UTC)
