G Data → G Data Software – The name of this company is G Data Software AG. On the other hand: There will be a better difference to the article GData. 46.189.28.218 (talk) 05:39, 4 June 2017 (UTC) --Relisting. — Music1201 talk 18:54, 12 June 2017 (UTC)

Deletion
editNo deleting: The IT-Company is one of the largest in Germany; especially awarded from the EU (IPACSO) because of their innovations! --46.189.28.218 (talk) 07:56, 13 June 2017 (UTC)
- You may remove Prod template yourself, but this article will not survive AfD without good reliable sources about this company. Pavlor (talk) 09:35, 13 June 2017 (UTC)
- See WP:GNG, WP:NORG. Wikipedia requires multiple independent reliable sources that have substantial coverage of the topic. -- intgr [talk] 13:46, 13 June 2017 (UTC)
- Heise.de covers this company by short-news at least since 2008: [1] ct magazine has several reviews of their software. I also found some articles about their 30th anniversary: [2], [3] (note there are more similar, but they were clear PR or advert, ruhr-zeit.de may be also one of these...). What I found most interesting, this company started on Atari ST market and my brief search shows several software (and even hardware!) products from German company "G Data" with reviews in Atari magazines of that time. Maybe this arcticle can be saved after all... Pavlor (talk) 15:31, 13 June 2017 (UTC)
- Does this mean we close the Deletion now? --46.189.28.218 (talk) 13:58, 14 June 2017 (UTC)
- This is not deletion discussion (AfD), but proposed deletion. Anyone (including yourself) can remove Prod (proposed deletion) template from the article. However, any editor can then nominate this article for deletion and notability of its subject will be judged by broader Wikipedia community. I will add references to RS during this week and then maybe remove Prod, but you can do the same just now. Pavlor (talk) 15:26, 14 June 2017 (UTC)
- Done. -88.150.21.5 (talk) 04:44, 17 June 2017 (UTC)

G Data Software → G Data CyberDefense – New name of the compnay since September 2019, see also sources at the beginning of the article. 84.133.44.153 (talk) 10:05, 6 November 2019 (UTC)
- Comment Neutral to the move. I would wait until some RSs start to use this name, but this may take ages (notability of this company is borderline anyway). Pavlor (talk) 11:19, 6 November 2019 (UTC)
- Move it - there would be a clear distinction to GData. --2003:E7:EF2A:E80D:F11D:5722:F32F:23D1 (talk) 09:50, 8 November 2019 (UTC)
