editThat site is hosting LOC material. This definitely comes from the public domain US government site http://lcweb2.loc.gov/frd/cs/dztoc.html . Mangostar (talk) 16:53, 4 March 2008 (UTC)
- This would appear to be the case; however as per WP:PDR (and WP:NPS), please don't just dump public domain works to Wikipedia, they'll need to be heavily edited for style and NPOV. ShakingSpirittalk 17:09, 4 March 2008 (UTC)
- Actually, Wikipedia has a long practice of this dumping (e.g. 1911 EB) and I have discussed this on AN/I and gotten encouragement from commentators. It's much better just to get all this info in the encyclopedia for now. Cleanup can easily take place later. Mangostar (talk) 17:17, 4 March 2008 (UTC)
