General Casimir Pulaski (statue) → Equestrian statue of Casimir Pulaski – WP:VAMOS has been updated and now says: "For portrait sculptures of individuals in public places the forms "Statue of Fred Foo" "Equestrian statue of Fred Foo" or "Bust of Fred Foo" is recommended, unless a form such as "Fred Foo Memorial" or "Monument to Fred Foo" is the WP:COMMONNAME. If further disambiguation is needed, because there is more than one sculpture of the same person with an article, then disambiguation by location rather than the sculptor is usually better." --Another Believer (Talk) 13:24, 10 March 2020 (UTC)

Federal Triangle?
edit@Bohemian Baltimore: According to Google Maps (which is not 100% accurate re: neighborhood boundaries), this sculpture is just outside the boundaries of Federal Triangle. Are you sure the category is applicable? ---Another Believer (Talk) 14:33, 11 June 2022 (UTC)
- @User:Another Believer, Thanks for asking! It's hard to tell with some of these neighborhoods. This map on Wikipedia might have slightly different boundaries than Google Maps. I wasn't quite sure if Freedom Plaza was in "Federal Triangle", in "Penn Quarter", or if the boundaries went through the middle of the park. I think the same issue exists with Pershing Park. I try to place urban locations into neighborhood categories whenever possible for the seek of specificity and clarity, but it seems like sometimes urban neighborhoods are undefined, poorly/vaguely defined, or defined differently by different sources. - @Bohemian Baltimore: @Another Believer: I removed the Federal Triangle category and drop down box because Freedom Plaza is just outside the northern boundary of Federal Triangle. The plaza isn't mentioned in Federal Triangle and Freedom Plaza is in the second gray area here. If it needs to be specified, it's in Downtown since Penn Quarter is several blocks away. - @APK Thanks! ---Another Believer (Talk) 16:07, 5 January 2024 (UTC)

CASIMIR PULASKI
editOn one of the Science shows streamed about finding the bones of Pulaski in the bottom marble part of the statue. The historians had dismantled the statue and marble portion because it needed cleaning. They found Casimir's bones in a box. When they laid them out on a table, they learned that the bones were FEMALE. They found a niece from Casimir's country and did a DNA check. It matched 100% with the niece and we learned that Casimir Pulaski was a hermaphrodite. The troop that Casimir led stated that Casimir would never sit with them and talk about women. Now we know why. She/he had both sex organs and hid that well. Imagine, George Washington had a female/male leader in his troops. How awesome is that!!!!! 2603:7080:A902:A800:192E:FF3E:65CB:651E (talk) 18:09, 20 June 2023 (UTC)
